They have no right to detain you... they're just desperate to scan your pass for a name, but they cannot physically stop you from leaving... that is actually illegal unless you explicitly sign up for that (no ski resort does this) by buying a pass. So F these guys... the guy correctly ran off, like he should... All they do is power trip (like diversity and inclusion managers) with no power whatsoever...

Alpine code #3 only stop where clearly visible and don’t restrict traffic’. Skier that got sprayed wasn’t a hazard. Skier spraying is in the wrong. He tried to justify with ‘ you’re supposed to stop only on side of runs’. Not true. The idea that he’s allowed to spray snow at others who are stopped on a run is wrong. If he could line up easily enough to target spraying, there was no traffic restriction.

You shouldn’t stop in the middle of a ski run, if you do expect people to spray you. It’s like being in a pool and not expecting people to splash you. It’s ok to laugh at things in life!! You don’t have to get mad at everything!

Let it be known, Ski Patrol cannot take passes, they cannot tackle you, they cannot detain you, they cannot give you a citation. They may be able to kick you off the mountain for the day, but ski patrol has virtually no power lol

this was one hundred percent this guys fault, he was in the middle of the trail with tons of oncoming people, atleast go to the side. The person who sprayed him was just trying to not hit him. While the person who spayed him ran away it was entirely gregs fault.
